Lecia and Don

Description

Don was my pastor at the Buxton Center Baptist Church when I was a kid. An old bachelor, it was the talk of the town when he was engaged to a woman with a teenage daughter. They were from San Francisco no less. Big news for our little town. Lecia was that teenage daughter. Despite repeated suggestions, by Don, that we become an item, and despite her initial loathing of her new situation, we became friends. She moved away as soon as she could but, somewhat miraculously, we're still friends. I'm grateful for that.
